About KLAP Volleyball

KLAP is a non-profit organization, incorporated under the laws of State of Maryland and in accordance with Section 501C(3) of the IRS tax regulations. The unity was formed in 2012 by a group of Volleyball enthusiasts with an intention to promote harmony, fellowship, and sportsman spirit.

KLAP has been conducting every year a national level Volleyball Tournament by invitation only since its inception and it has grown to one of the biggest Volleyball Tournaments of Asian Indians in North America.

When the sportsman sprit combined with the social harmony, here come the well appreciated humanitarian thoughts and activities by the KLAP team. In association with the Padma trust in Palakkad District, Kerala State in South India, KLAP have done and continue to do the following charitable works

Cash support for poor cancer patients and kidney patients.

Elderly Citizens with financial problem to earn daily bread are given assistance monthly as food products, saplings or financial help.

Book bags, books and other stationary items were provided to those less fortunate students in new academic year.

KLAP along with Padma charitable trust have also decided to provide financial assistance to Ms. Sandhya, a civil service aspirant for her training in Delhi (Vajiram and Ravi Civil Service Academy) Ms. Sandhya is the rank holder in her PG degree in “Public Administration”

Moreover, the trust adopted a colony in Kadapara (Moorthikunn, Kadappara, Mangaladam, Palakkad)Where there is a govt. intervention situation on their land and 2 in parathood (puthenpadam, payaloor, kolamakode, Pakkad, Kerala, India)

KLAP continue to support and physically visit the places.
